Movin', Movin', Movin'

Gabriel loves his dump truck now that he can ride it with no help. He gets around all over the house. His favorite thing is to chase the dogs or look out the back door.

Tub Time

Gabriel is pulling up on his knees in the bath tub nowadays. He is reaching for everything, including the camera.

We were looking back at some of Gabriel's pictures from the spring and summer, and it is amazing how he has changed. He really is slimming down. You can see it best in his face. He is looking more like a toddler and less like a baby. That makes Mommy a little sad. Just think, his first birthday will be here in about three weeks! Where has the time gone??

Eureka!

Welp, the boy finally did it. He loves to knock down the towers we build and that was enough motivation for him to do his first true crawl!

Bubble Bath

Daddy fixed Gabriel up with a bubble bath last night. Gabriel had a lot of fun splashing in the bubbles!

Sunday Morning Breakfast

Gabriel LOVES scrambled eggs, especially when they have cheese in them. The cheese makes them especially tasty, messy, and fun to play in. This morning Gabriel had oatmeal, scrambled eggs with cheese, and sausage. No doubt, he enjoyed himself at breakfast, and Mommy had quite a mess to clean up . . . eggs in Gabriel's hair, his ears, and between each of his fingers.

Solo Peek-A-Boo

Gabriel has learned how to Peek-A-Boo by himself. Last night at bathtime, he pulled the bath towel between his legs to cover his face. He waited under the towel while Dan and I said, "Where's Gabriel?" Then he would pull the towel down and laugh when we said, "Peek-A-Boo!" for him. He was quite a hoot! We repeated this routine a dozen times, and it never lost its humor.

Blocks

Daddy and Gabriel had fun playing with blocks this weekend. Daddy built towers, and Gabriel knocked them down. They also had contests to see who could clap their blocks together the loudest.

Hangin' Out at Home

Gabriel rested on Mommy after an exhausting day at the new babysitter's house.

Tonight Gabriel ate chocolate cake . . . off of Mommy's plate . . . YUM-O!

New Year's Eve

9 month check up at 10 months

Gabriel had a check-up on Dec. 27th. His weight is 28 lbs 4 oz. and his height is 31.5 inches. The Dr. told us to start soft table foods. Dr. Roberts said we have a perfectly healthy little boy.
