Rolling Over
Grace rolled over for the first time today. She has been able to lay on her side without any help or support for a long time now, but she's never had any reason to want to roll over. She hates laying on her belly. Today she just flipped herself over though; I think it was mostly out of curiosity. It looked like she surprised herself when it was over. These pictures are not of the actual event. I took these Monday when it looked like she was going to roll over, but she never finished the job.

Puzzle's Fun Dome
The plan for today was a trip to the zoo, but rain kept us away. Instead, we went to Puzzle's Fun Dome for an afternoon of fun with cousins and friends. Alicia and Sam, Frank, Tammy, and Nick, Uncle Robbie, Bobby, and Ben went with us. Nick and his friend went down the big inflatable slide.
Sam was a brave one who went next with his mommy. Next comes Ben down the slide. Finally Gabriel and Daddy slide down.
Sam and Gabriel played in the toddler play area called the Imaginarium. Gabriel went straight for the riding toy.
He found some friends to teeter totter with too. . . . two girls? Go, Gabriel!
After we had a little break, Gabriel rode a motorcycle with Ben.
And painted a picture with Daddy.
Artist at work!
Bobby helped paint too. Nap time was near, so it was time for the little tykes to go home. The boys had to put their shoes on.

Thanks, McAfees and Nuxolls, for going with us! Thanks, Uncle Robbie, Bobby, and Ben! We had a great time!

Easter with Family
We spent the morning at Grandma and Papa's house. We had brunch with Grandma, Papa, Uncle Brian, and Erin. The Easter bunny visited Grandma's house too! He brought Gabriel some clothes, candy, crayons, coloring book, book, and a kaleidoscope. The Easter bunny brought Grace some clothes, socks, and blocks. Uncle Brian and Erin came with Easter gifts too: a dump truck for Gabriel and a teddy bear for Grace.
After brunch Gabriel went for an Easter egg hunt in the family room. He had so much fun that he asked Uncle Brian to go downstairs and hide more eggs for him to find.
Grace had fun playing with Grandma.
Uncle Brian and Gabriel played with cars from Easter eggs found in the Easter egg hunt. After a yummy meal and lots of play time, both kids took naps. Following our naps, we went home and had dinner with Grandma, Papa, Grampy, Uncle Robbie, and Ben. It was a nice Easter.

Easter Baskets
Gabriel went immediately to Grace's Easter basket and threw some of the balls that were in her basket.
Gabriel found the Curious George movie first in his Easter basket.
Yea! Markers!
Gabriel is showing Grace the light up egg from her Easter basket.
Grace got some bunny ears too . . . so cute!
The Easter bunny brought Gabriel some markers, crayons, a pad of drawing paper, a giant cookie (which he ate for breakfast), a Curious George DVD, a sun hat, bath confetti, and bubbles. The Easter bunny brought Grace socks, bunny ears, an outfit, a lullabye CD, some textured balls, a light-up egg, and a sun hat. The kids had a fun morning with their Easter baskets.

Gracie Playing
Gracie Playing
I bought the tray this past weekend that goes on the Bumbo seat. Grace would get so mad while sitting in her seat if she dropped her toy because she couldn't reach it. She had a great time tonight sitting in the seat while we ate dinner and cleaned up.

Bath Time Fun
It's been a while since we took bath time pictures . . . Mommy loves tub pictures!
Gabriel was saying, "Cheese" for the camera.
All clean, Grinning Boy!
It's Grace's turn for a bath. She is always smiling! She is also always sucking on her fingers!
All done! Ready to read a book, Mommy! Tonight we read How Do Dinosaurs Say Goodnight and Can You Tell Elmo How to Get to Sesame Street.

"Where sleeves go?"
Gabriel got sick at Mom and Dad's house tonight while eating a snack. Grandma gave Gabriel a t-shirt from his Easter basket to wear home. He kept pulling at the sleeves trying to pull them down to his wrists. Then he looked at them and said, "Sleeves go? Where sleeves go?"
Birthday Namas
Uncle Eddie and (Future) Aunt Stacey gave Gabriel these pajamas for his birthday. We thought that with the weather being a little warmer tonight it would be a good time to wear them.
He was a hoot when we were trying to put them on. He kept saying, "NO!" and pushing them off of his head. He really didn't understand why we were putting on pajamas that didn't zip and have feet. He was really upset until he saw himself in the mirror wearing his new pajamas.
