Toe Jam?
I have NO IDEA why, but tonight after dinner, Grace sat down on the floor and started gnawing away at the bottom of her feet.
Was it a new sensation to her? Did the bottom of her feet itch? Did she enjoy the taste of the dirt on the bottom of her feet? Did she not get enough to eat at dinner? Who knows!!!

Lapping Park
We went to Lapping Park this afternoon. We had such perfect weather this weekend that it would have been a crime to not spend as much time outside as possible.
Gabriel rode his bike for one trip around the park. I think that's pretty good!
Grace loves to slide, and of course she goes straight for the biggest slide at the playground.
Here's Gabriel on his way down the same slide.
Monkey see, monkey do. Grace wants to do everything that her brother does.

Daddy's Tractor --- Take 2
Forgotten Post
Ice Cream Truck
Papa and Gabriel waited for the ice cream truck to stop. Gabriel was SO excited when he heard the music from the truck.
Papa placed the orders --- a Big Stick for Gabriel and a Blowpop slushie for Grace.
Grace did not wait patiently for her slushie.
Gabriel enjoyed his Big Stick popsicle.
Grace loved her blue slushie.
Of course, Gabriel had to get in on the slushie action too.
Cooling off with frozen treats
That popsicle was such a mess, but Gabriel enjoyed every bit of it.
Smurfette! The picture does not do the "blue-ness" justice.

Jay Birds
The kids had check-ups at the doctor's office today, Gabriel's three year and Grace's 18 month. Here are my naked jay birds!
Gabriel weighs 40 lbs. 2 oz. and is 39 inches tall. Gabriel's weight is in the 97th percentile, and his height is in the 73rd percentile. Gabriel had to have his thumb pricked to check his iron levels in his blood; that explains the bandaged thumb. As is typical lately, Lightning McQueen had to travel with us to the doctor's office.
Grace is 21 lbs. and 31 inches tall. Her weight is in the 6th percentile, and her height is in the 26th percentile. Grace is meeting her developmental milestones perfectly.
Both kids are the picture of health. We are so blessed!

Swim Lessons 3
We spent some time playing in the pool at the YMCA before swim classes yesterday.
Grace was outgrowing her bathing suit. This is her new bathing suit for the summer.
Gabriel loves to play in the water!
Unfortunately, he did not enjoy his swim class as much. He cried through more than half the class. He participated and did a good job, but cried quietly while staring at me through the window. Heartbreaking . . .

Swim Lessons 2
While Mommy and Grace went to Grace's swim lesson, Daddy and Gabriel played in the pool.
Daddy did some swim lessons of his own --- Holding Your Breath 101.

Next, Gabriel did swim lessons. Here he is practicing floating on his belly.
Then, he did blowing bubbles.
Of course there was time to act silly too.
