Gabriel's Halloween costume is a Jack-O-Lantern. We had some fun at Huber's playing "Hide the Gabe" amongst the pumpkins. It's a little like Where's Waldo.
Gabriel gets to drive the tractor all by himself! Just Kidding! Daddy is holding him behind a wooden picture of a farmer on a tractor, in case you hadn't figured that out. What a big grin!
Gabriel had an outing with Grandma, Papa, Daddy, and Mommy at Huber's Orchard and Winery. It was a busy weekend at the winery, but we still had a good time. Gabriel got to ride a cow (to the left) with Grandma and a tractor with Papa.
The scenery in West Virginia was beautiful. Despite some rain, the mountians and spending time outdoors provided us with a nice relaxing weekend. Gabriel and Daddy had lots of time to play together too! We can't wait to do it again next year.
Gabriel went to see Dr. Roberts today. He weighs 24 lbs. 10 oz which is off the chart in percentiles. He is 28 1/2 in. tall which is the 97th percentile. She says that he is perfect and healthy. He is to finish all of his first foods and start second foods. She also wants him to have juice once a day.
Dr. Roberts, Mommy, and Daddy are all really proud of our chunky monkey!
We tried drinking from a sippy cup yesterday. He has been showing interest in Mommy and Daddy's cups lately --- trying to grab them and put his mouth on the rim. He liked the sippy cup, but it was more fun banging it on the high chair.
As the hour reaches nearer to 8 PM, the little boy becomes more and more unhappy. As you can see he was having a little meltdown in the floor.
Hershey is now answering to the name Gabriel. He thinks that if his name was Gabriel then he would be getting much more attention. As I was saying Gabriel's name to get him to smile for the camera, Hershey struck a pose.
Gabriel is sitting up with some support from the Boppy pillow. He likes his keys because of the bright colors and different textures. Gabe has also been having a little teething pain. He likes to chew on this firefly toy after it has spent a little time in the freezer.
Gabriel spent the weekend at the Holdaway Family Reunion. He got to meet about a hundred of his cousins, most of them for the first time. Here he is with his Uncle Brian and his cousin Karen. Gabriel was quite the looker in his Holdaway Reunion onesie that his cousin Michele made for him.
It was a hot weekend, and Gabriel found a great way to cool off. Grandma and Grandpa bought him a swimming pool. After a cool dip with Dad in the pool, Uncle Ed let him eat part of a Freezer Pop . . . Mmmm.
