The First Bridal Shower

These pictures were taken last Sunday at Stacey's Bridal Shower with the Holdaway side of the family. It was held at Adrienne and Company in Jeffersonville. The happy couple soon to be wed . . . they are so cute together.

Bridal Shower

Grandma and Mommy went to Michigan today for Future-Aunt Stacey's Bridal Shower given by her friends and family. It was a beautiful shower. We made lots of new friends, enjoyed some wonderful food, and enjoyed a girl's day together.

Hair Bow

I couldn't decide which picture I liked the most. They are all so adorable. Grace was just all smiles and showing off for the camera.

Sunday Morning Breakfast

Gabriel's favorite meal is pancakes, so Mommy made some for him on Sunday morning. Grace played blocks in her highchair while Mommy cooked.

Kosair Hat

Karney and Dodie stopped by this afternoon and brought goodies for the kids. One of the goodies was this Kosair Charities fez; each of the kids got one. It was so cute on Grace because it looked like a lampshade on her head, and it was the same color as her outfit.

Company for Dinner

Missy, Billy, and Abby came to visit tonight for dinner. We haven't really seen them since January. It was nice to spend some time together. Abby trying to hold hands with Grace.
Abby and Missy have some tummy time . . . Abby HATES to lay on her belly.
Grace tried to show Abby the benefits of laying on your belly and then rolling to the toys you want to play with.

Playing Cars

This afternoon Mommy and Grace were playing in the floor when Gabriel came over and plopped down between us with his cars. That was is not-so-subtle hint that he wanted us to play cars with him . . . and we did.
They are so cute when they play "together."

Playing with Uncle Ed at the Park

Uncle Ed has traveled South for the weekend. We are all happy to see him. Aunt Stacey will be here tomorrow evening. We are looking forward to seeing her --- and the ring --- too. We took the kids to the park because it was such a pretty evening. Hey, Grace, how's the view from waaaaaaaaay up there?

Mother's Day Pictures from Grandma and Papa's House

We had Mother's Day dinner at Grandma and Papa's house with Uncle Brian and Erin. Gabriel and Grace had fun playing. Uncle Brian and Erin lifted the kiddos up so that they could look at themselves in the mirror. The kids thought it was hilarious, but now Grandma has to clean her mirror.

Grace rolled all over the living room floor.
Gabriel and Uncle Brian played together.
Uncle Brian also taught Gabriel how to play Pac-Man on the TV. He enjoyed playing his first video games.

Mother's Day

For Mother's Day Grace gave Mommy this Team Mommy t-shirt. Her shirt says, "I'm on Mommy's Team!" Gabriel gave Mommy at t-shirt that says, "Awesome Mom," and he has one that says, "Awesome Kid." Very creative gifts! Too cute!

Sitting Pretty

Grace is sitting pretty well lately with a little support. She has a tendency to roll on her bottom from side to side and back and forth when she's excited. Then she falls over.

Talking to Tammy

Gabriel mimicks everything we say and do lately. On the way home from work tonight I took a call from Tammy, my "roommate" at work. As soon as we walked in the door at home, Gabriel grabbed his Elmo phone because he wanted to talk to Tammy. He even threw into his conversation some words like morning, meeting, and right that he had heard me use during my phone call.

Strollin' on a Sunday Afternoon

Dan and I took the kiddos for a walk when the weather was gorgeous Sunday afternoon. We used the side-by-side double stroller. It was a nice ride for the kids, but a little difficult for Mommy to steer.

Hands

Grace is so close to crawling. She wiggles and rolls all over the place. She is so proud of herself when she gets somewhere she wants to go. It won't be long and she'll be keeping up with big brother.
