What better way to spend the morning of a snow day than doing crafts? I traced the kids' hands onto sheets of blue paper.
The kids colored their hands brown to look like a tree trunk with branches.
Then we tore cotton balls a part and glued them to bottom of our trees to look like snow.
Next, we used glue sticks and sugar to make snow falling from the sky and laying on the tree branches.
The kids really enjoyed making a craft.
And now we have beautiful snow pictures to hang up!
After making our snow pictures, the kids wanted to play with Play-Doh.
Play-doh is always a good way to spend time when you can't go outside.
Well, we could go outside, but it was 20-some degrees and still snowing.
If the snow slows down this afternoon, we'll play outside a little.
