We spent the day cleaning up and cleaning out at our soon-to-be new house. The kids have a ball playing there because there is so much wide-open space for them right now.
Grace was very eager to help, so I put her in charge of washing the cups that I brought for her and Gabe to drink from while we're there.
She loved helping in the kitchen, but she became a wet mess from her neck to her toes. No worries . . . Grandma brought her some clothes to change in to.
While Grace and I cleaned up, Gabriel played his Leapster.
After changing in to dry clothes (pj's), Grace went outside to help Daddy with cleaning up the yard. She raked leaves while Daddy used the blower.
Bobby and Ben were there, so Grace got lots of rough-housing time.
Gabriel found a glass full of marbles, and those kept him entertained for the ENTIRE day.
He rolled marbles, traded marbles with Grace, sorted marbles, threw marbles, kicked marbles, chased marbles. Whew!
Who knew that two plastic measuring cups and a glass of marbles could keep two kids so busy?
