Baking Cupcakes

Grandma had a trick up her sleeve tonight. She had planned for the kids to bake cupcakes and decorate them after dinner.
Grace and Grandma mixed up the batter and put the cupcakes in the oven before dinner. When dinner was finished, it was time to decorate.
Gabriel and Grace required a lot of supervision because they kept having a tendency to lick their fingers, the knives, and anything else that touched the icing.
Nice job, Gabriel! They look yummy!
So what are you supposed to do with half a can of unused icing?
Gabriel had icing everywhere! It was on his elbow, in his hair, and on the wall across the room.
The best part is tasting their creations.
I think Gabriel approved!
Oh how quickly a mood can change! Gabriel ended up crying and throwing a fit.
Because Grace took his cupcake and ate it. It's not like we didn't have anymore! I love how satisfied Grace looks. Not only did she get a second cupcake, but it irritated the fire out of her brother too. Sweet success!
