After dinner tonight, Dan took the kids outside to fly a kite.
It was not the most successful first flight. The last time the kite was flown, part of the kite tail got stuck in a tree and became detached from the kite.
With part of the tail missing, the kite was pretty difficult to control. It seemed to truly have a mind of its own and seemed to dive-bomb Gabriel repeatedly.
After a little creative ingenuity, which Dan is very well known for, he got the kite flying high! Grace, especially, was so excited!
After flying the kite for a while, the kids came inside for dessert --- strawberries and whipped cream. Mmmmm!
(See, Bridgepointers, I'm doing the challenge! There's a serving of fruit right here! Does it matter that it's covered with whipped cream? Ha Ha!)
