This past week was National Education Association's Read Across America Week. Read Across America is done in conjunction with Dr. Seuss' birthday. Schools do different activities that revolve around reading to celebrate Read Across America and Dr. Seuss' birthday. Friday both my school and Gabriel's school had Storybook Character Day where students and staff were encouraged to dress like their favorite storybook character.
Momma got crafty and made some Thing 1 and Thing 2 t-shirts for our costumes. If Gabriel gets a Thing 1 shirt, you know Grace has to have a Thing 2 shirt. Tammy and I had planned to be Thing 1 and Thing 2 also, but our principal wanted us to be the Three Blind Mice. Once she mentioned gray sweatsuits, I was "all in" on that costume. How often do I get to wear sweats to work?
Here are my cute little Things!
