We arrived in West Virginia about 12:30 a.m. on Friday morning. Dan quickly got some things unpacked, including Grace's pack and play, so she could go to bed. When we went to put her down, she clung to me so tightly and refused to go in the pack and play. I was so tired that I didn't fight it and offered her a spot in bed with Dan and me. She didn't refuse. She slept between us the rest of the night.
Friday night she asked to sleep in the extra twin bed in Gabriel's room of the cabin. She was so excited that we let her sleep in the big bed. She slept like a little angel. In the morning she thumped out of bed by herself, met me at the door of the bedroom, and said, "I awake, Mommy." I'm not ready for my little girl to be big enough to sleep in a real bed.
