We had planned on going to an Easter Egg Hunt this morning at Colgate Park, but it started to pour rain about the time we were ready to leave. The kids and I were really disappointed . . . you should have seen Grace's crocodile tears. Luckily, this afternoon the weather was beautiful. So I decided to put together a little Easter egg hunt in our backyard while the kids were napping.
Daddy helped Grace get a little jump start because Gabriel was finding the eggs really quickly.
Gabriel's basket filled up in no time.
Grace was so excited with every egg she found.
There were a few eggs hidden in the top of the play set too.
The kids found tattoos, coins, and candy inside their eggs.
Gabriel ate the candy in each egg he found. It took him much longer to open his eggs than it did Grace.
While Gabriel was still opening his eggs, Grace wanted to put on all of her tattoos. She's a hoot!
