After leaving Wayne and Candi's house with Grace's pine cones, we went to Grandma and Papaw's house to make bird feeders. THAT was Grace's plan for her pine cones.
You start by spreading peanut butter all over the outside of the pine cone.
Then you sprinkle bird seed on the outside of the peanut butter and pack it down.
You can't forget to tie a string around one end of the pine cone so you can hang it.
Grace wanted to hang her bird feeder on Papaw's tree with his other bird feeders.
Papaw watched the bird feeder for a while after we left because he wanted to get a picture of a bird or squirrel eating from it. Before we headed home, a curious little squirrel had shown some interest in it. After a while Papaw decided to give the squirrels and birds a little space, and he went inside. He looked out the door a few minutes later to see if he could catch a critter eating from Grace's feeder, and it was gone. The whole bird feeder was GONE! Some little critter decided to be a piggy and took off with the whole darn thing! Ha Ha!
