Jake Turns 4!

 Jake celebrated his 4th birthday Saturday.  The kids love going to the McAfee's house.

 The bounce house was a hit with them.

 Grace loves to play with her gal pal, Darbi.

 The adults had the kiddos sit and pose for a pic before tearing into the pinata.  Look at all of the kids!  What a crazy crew!

 The kids whacked at the pinata in order of age beginning with the youngest.  Grace was pretty fierce whacking at that pinata.  Alicia and I laughed because we knew she would be.

 Gabriel gave it few good knocks.

 Dan cuddled with Miss Maz while the big kids were banging on the pinata.  He loves a little baby snuggle time.

 Candy went flying, and the kids dove in!

 Jake's birthday party was IU themed, if you hadn't guessed by now.  It was so cute seeing him dressed in his IU gear.  The next activities were cake and presents.  Jake's IU cake was really cool, but I forgot to get a picture of it.  We gave him a BINGO and Tic-Tac-Toe game set.  The McAfee's love to play games, and these seemed like ones Jake and Sam could play together.

Jake got a (self inflating) whoopie cushion for one of his gifts.  I told Alicia when he opened it that this was a toy Grace would totally be into.  Guess what?!?!  Mom was right!  Grace was having a ball playing with the whoopie cushion.

Once the party died down, Alicia and I broke out some wine.  The big boys played Mario on the Wii.  The men sat by the fire outside, and the little kids acted silly and rowdy.  I like a party that ends with wine!  Ha!  Thanks, McAfee family for inviting us to celebrate your little man with you.  We love you, Jake, and were so happy to be part of your birthday celebration.
