Grace had her 3rd Rocephin shot this morning. Thank goodness those are over! I hope neither of my children EVER has to go through that again.
Her left ear, which has been the worst of the two, is getting better. The right ear is not. We have to wait 10 to 14 days and then have her ears rechecked. We will be getting a referral to take her to an ENT. If her ears are not cleared up 100% in 10-14 days, we have to take her to the ENT and get tubes. At this point, I just wish we could get the tubes and be done. On the other hand, ear tubes ARE a surgical procedure, and I don't want to do it unnecessarily. I'm just ready for both kids to be healthy and feeling 100%.

is she sleeping okay? my kids are always restless with ear infections since the fluid can hurt when they lay down. i sure hope she is. that can be rough...especially as long as it is going on!
surgery is no fun! jackson had his for his testicles at 2 yrs and 3 mos. it's so hard because they are completely out of your hands. it will be worth tubes in the end if she needs them! all the triplets have them and they are much healthier because of it! good luck!
Poor thing. Kade had to have tubes and we're thankful that he did. He has not had an ear infection at all this season {knock on wood}. We dealt with a lot of ear issues last year. I feel for you and Grace.
