Sam's 5th Birthday Party

Gabriel and I went to Sam's 5th birthday party Sunday afternoon. The McAfee's went all out with a magician, balloons, and face painting. Gabriel had a ball! It's so hard to believe that Gabriel's 5th birthday is right around the corner now.
First up, Mr. Magic made Gabriel a ray gun from a red balloon.
Because Sam was the birthday boy, he got this totally awesome alien hat!
After color some Mario color sheets and eating a dozen suckers, the kids were ready for the magic show.
The kids laughed for the entire 45 minute magic show.
A few minutes into the show, Gabriel got his chance to get his face painted.
He decided on a creepy spider web and spider.

Sam got to go up front and help Mr. Magic with a few of his tricks.
For example, Sam made this bunny appear in the cage by just waving the magic wand.
After the magic show, the kids took a seat for some cake. Of course, Gabriel wanted to sit near the sucker tree.
Sam had an amazing Mario cake.

After the crowd left, Janelle and I helped Alicia clean up. Gabriel and Sam busted out the Mario game on the Wii. Apparently, in Sam's words, "Gabriel is the worst Mario player ever." (Ha ha!) It didn't matter, though, because Gabriel had a blast, didn't want to leave, and has hounded me about getting him a Wii ever since.
