Last night we headed over to Slugger Field to see a Louisville Bats game with Grandma, Papaw, and the McAfee family.
As soon as we walked into the stadium, the kids found this glove seat and wanted to try it out.
Even before we found our seats, Grace wanted to ride the carousel and Daddy agreed to take her.
Me and my babe enjoying the game.Papaw and Gabriel
Gabriel just enjoys baseball for the snacks. He started with cotton candy.
Then he had some coconut ice cream.
I had said No a dozen times, but Gabriel convinced Daddy to let him try out the pitching machine.
This was one of the few moments when Gabriel sat and watched the game.
It wasn't long before the boys decided they were ready to ride the carousel.
We had to visit the playground too.
Jake, Gabriel, and Sam posed for a picture. Gabriel makes a good Buddy Bat!
I told you, Gabriel is smitten with Miss Nora. She wasn't interested in smiling at him last night though.
After the baseball game, there were fireworks.
Grace and I enjoyed watching the fireworks together. After each burst, she would have a comment like "Awesome!" or "That one was cool!"
Gabriel enjoyed the fireworks too, but he was also really tired from such a big day. We had a fun evening with family and friends.
