We made a quick trip to the mall tonight to buy Gabriel a new pair of tennis shoes. While I shopped with Gabriel, Dan entertained Grace by letting her ride this ice cream truck ride.
After Gabriel and I shopped, he got a turn to ride too. Of course he chose the race car.
Gabriel has complained about his shoes being too tight every morning this week while getting ready for school. The shoes he's been wearing are a 10. When the girl in Payless measured his foot tonight, he was an 11. No wonder his feet hurt when he put his shoes on! Sorry, Gabe! Mommy will try to do better at paying attention to these things.

BTW --- Gabriel DOES have a larger size pair of shoes that he has refused to wear this week when I've suggested it. He doesn't like that they are shoes that tie, and he can't take them on and off by himself. I don't blame him for not wanting to wear them to school because they have to take their shoes off for nap time and put them back on by themselves.
