Saturday we spent the day in Indianapolis. Our day started with mass at Holy Sacrament Church to celebrate the 50th wedding anniversary of my dad's first cousin, Barbara, and her husband, Ray. There was a reception following mass. The reception resembled the Holdaway reunion --- but with much less sweat and body odor.
Here are the three cutest cousins: Grace, Claire, and Maria.
The Paynter, Gallagher, and Ellnor children occupied a table by themselves.
The little girls went up to offer their congratulations to Ray and Barbara.
The happy couple cut their cake, just like they did 50 years ago.
Here are some family members posing for a quick picture: Megan, Ed (their grandpa), and Lauren.
These are the eldest grandchildren of Hazel Holdaway Gallagher: Mike, Mark, Pat, John, and Dee. Just in case you are curious . . . Hazel Holdaway Gallagher was my grandfather's sister.
