Last Hoorah!

Friday we had our last play date of summer. We joined the McAfee's for some outside play at their house.
Jake and Grace bounced in the bounce house while Gabriel and Sam played Mario on the Wii.
Alicia and I enjoyed some vino. Once the bottle was empty this play date became SO FUN! Who says play dates are just for the kids' entertainment??
Alicia gave the kids each a piece of gum. The Ellnor kids NEVER get gum! I looked at Gabriel and he was 100% focused on his gum. He was chewing it with his eyes closed, savoring every chew. Then he started stretching it and twirling it around his finger. Once I snapped a picture, I snapped at him to get his gum in his mouth! Ha!
It didn't take long before we changed the kids in to their swimsuits and the water play began. Jake and Grace figured out how to turn the hose off and on.
They would play in the water for a bit, and then they would bounce for few minutes.
They had a blast jumping in the pool, spraying each other with the hose, and just lovin' summer.
Alicia gave each of the kids a push-up pop after lunch time. When the push-ups were all gone, we broke out the orange cream bars that I brought. It's summer . . . two desserts are fine!

I bet they ran back and forth and jumped into the pool a dozen times. Sweet! Worn out kids!
As soon as we got to the McAfee's house, Grace found this play cell phone. She played with it off and on all afternoon. Several times she called Ninny (Sam, Jake, and Nora's grandma).

Thanks for having us over, McAfee family! We had a great time and enjoyed our naps when we got home.
