After the anniversary celebration, we headed to Uncle Ed and Aunt Stacey's house to have dinner and visit.
Uncle Ed and Gabriel played washers. Gabriel got a good lesson in smack talk while playing with Uncle Ed too.
We played several games before dinner too. We played Jenga and Swipe. Then Grandma got roped into a game of Sorry.
After dinner the kiddos did some sparklers with Aunt Stacey. Gabriel was only good for one sparkler. He was promised that he could play Uncle Ed's Wii after dinner. He did his obligatory sparkler then retreated to the living room for Mario Cart.
Grace was a sparkler fool though!
She had a great time twirling red hot sparks through the air on a tiny stick. I'm amazed that she didn't set herself or her clothing on fire.
When sparklers were finished, she was excited to head up to Aunt Stacey big bath tub with jets. I put a tiny squirt of bubble bath in the tub . . .
Before long there were bubbles up over her head!! Oh my goodness!
I was able to meet my neph-pup, Griffee, while we were there. Eddie and Stacey adopted him from a shelter just a few weeks ago. He is the sweetest dog! I can't imagine how he ended up at a shelter.
Before heading home, Grace helped Uncle Ed play a little Mario Cart.
I think Gabriel was ready to move in. He LOVES him some video games!
