All the way to Holiday World, Daddy and the kids would announce how many more miles to Holiday World. We drove for at least 30 minutes hearing, "20 more miles to Holiday World! 19 more miles to Holiday World!" It made the last leg of the trip seem a little long, if you ask me.
The first ride we hit was the bumper boats.
Next, the kids road the airplanes.
We rented a wagon when we got there, and that was a perfect way to get the kids and our bag around the park.
Gabriel was tall enough to ride the bumper cars this time. The last time, he was not tall enough, and that was so disappointing to him.
We ate lunch and then headed to the Holidog area. The kids wanted so badly to play in water, and Gabriel wanted to ride a roller coaster.
Grace was an animal in this toddler water area! She ran, jumped, and whooped like a little monster. I think it's safe to say that she was having fun!
*****Insert a few hours at Splashin' Safari*****
Gabe drove the car that he and Daddy were in.
We also rode the Storybook Train.
The Indian Canoe Ride was pretty slow compared to the other rides we had been on.
The Salmon Run was our last ride. Gabriel looked a little green while on this ride, so we decided to call it a day.
Before leaving the park, we had to have a treat. Gabriel wanted ice cream.
I indulged in a hot fudge funnel cake. Yum-O!
It didn't take long for our little girl to be out on the ride home. She had played hard all day!
What a fun family day! We all had a great time and are already looking forward to going again next summer!
