Christmas Morning

We spent Christmas morning at Grandma and Papa's house. Gabriel got lots of great gifts: a baseball bank from Uncle Eddie, a tricycle from Grandma and Papa, and a Bounce and Spin Zebra from Mommy and Daddy. It was a wonderful first Christmas.

Portraits

October 21st we did family portraits to use as Christmas gifts. Uncle Rob, Aunt Wendy, and the boys went too, and we had portraits done together. These are a few of our favorite pictures of the 93 that were taken.

Christmas Eve

(Pictures are in somewhat of a reverse order.) We began our Christmas Eve with lunch at home with the Ellnor family. Granny and Gramps gave Gabriel a dump truck to ride on and some other fun toys. Uncle Rob and Aunt Wendy gave Gabriel a fun "abacus" toy. We ate, drank, and put the Merry in our Christmas. For dinner we went to Cousin Alice's for the Holdaway family Christmas party. Santa brought Gabriel a book and a caterpillar toy. We had several family photos taken. The little man was up very late (9:30!) On the way home he was out like a light and slept until 8:30 in the morning.

Overnight at Grandma and Papa's House

For Mommy's birthday last month, Grandma and Papa kept Gabriel overnight. That was Grandma's birthday gift too. There was lots of cuddling and playing in the floor. Gabe shared Grandma's ice cream, and everyone had fun!

Cousin Ginny's Christmas Party

Gabriel got to spend some time with his aunts and cousins at a Christmas party this weekend. Here he is pictured with Aunt Carol and Cousin Rhonda.

Breakfast with Santa

Gabriel went to Mommy's school this morning to have his picture taken with Santa Claus.

Boys will be Boys

Gabriel and Daddy cuddle on the couch.

How did he end up under the table? He'll never tell.

Daddy reads a book to Gabriel: Mr. Brown Can Moo. Can you? It's a very fun book to read.

Just Eat it!

It appears that Gabriel was a little confused about what he is supposed to eat while sitting in his highchair.

Ultimate Bed Head

Gabriel took a nap tonight after coming home from Staci's house. He had fallen asleep in the car so Mommy let him snooze with his hat on, creating some crazy bed head!

Christmas Tree Trouble

Gabriel has discovered the Christmas tree. He rolls his way over to it, and then little hands go to work grabbing whatever they can reach.

First Thanksgiving

Gabriel played in the floor at Granny's with cousins Bobby and Ben. At Grandma's house he had his first Thanksgiving dinner of turkey & sweet potatoes, green beans, and Redi Whip (straight from the can). As you can tell from the open mouth, he is willing to try anything!

New Toy

I know . . . why are you buying the kiddo a new toy a month before Christmas? Answer: Because he's our kiddo, and we can.

We bought Gabriel the Fisher-Price Two-in-One walker. He is standing, with support, now. He thought this toy was pretty cool. The only problem was that it doesn't bounce, and we know how the kiddo like to bounce.

Uncle Ed is good for the bouncing part!

Story Time

Mommy read Gabriel a story while laying on the floor together. This book is a fun rhyming book called Silly Sally.

Tough Days

Gabriel has had some big days at Staci's lately it seems. He came home 3 days last week and took naps.

Cousins Anthony and Maria

We went to Indianapolis today to visit our new cousin Maria. She was born in September. Anthony and Gabriel had fun playing together while Maria slept. It won't be long and these kiddos will be quiet a handful to keep up with. For now, they are pretty easy (at least two of the three).

Gabriel and Anthony . . . they are a year apart in age (to the day), but very nearly the same size!

Daddy's Hat

Gabriel tried on Daddy's work hat . . . it's a little big!

Halloween

Both sets of grandparents visited on Halloween night. Gabriel went to the neighbors' house next door and across the street to show off his totally cute costume. It was a fun night (despite cold, drizzly weather), but Gabriel was not a fan of the hat.

Bucket Head

This silly little boy liked playing in the floor with his bucket on his head!

Gabriel and Daddy had some play time with toys in the living room floor.
