Trick or Treating was short-lived! A quarter mile into the zoo, we started to hear the civil alert sirens and a warning over the loud speakers that we were under a tornado warning. We kept trick or treating like troopers, until a zoo worker funneled all of us into The Outpost saying that a funnel cloud was visible from the parking lot. We hung out there in the men's restroom until we felt like it was safe to head home. A very memorable experience . . . but a little disappointed about the trick or treating. Everyone hoped that hoofing it out of the zoo would help coax Grace along --- doubt it!

That is so funny! Yeah - all the hype and we got nothing! Julie and I are so disappointed. We would have been happy with just some thunder and lightening! :)
