Grace had a zoo class again this morning. She didn't sleep well last night and woke up quite cranky this morning. I think it's so funny that she puts her hands behind her head with her elbows up when she's tired. That grumpy face was a forewarning of what was to come.
The first activity for the class was to see some animals with some animals and examine their wings and legs. This owl was our first animal to see.
Next, we looked at a Madagascar Hissing Cockroach . . . yuck!
The last animal was a box turtle. Miss Whitney put this little guy on the ground, and he ran. Turtles are not slow. Shortly after this Grace threw a screaming tantrum, so we left the class.
This was Grace shortly after getting on the highway on the way home. I'm not sure what's going on with her, but she is not herself today. My poor little girl took a nap in the car for half an hour . . . that is not typical for her.
