Feet, Hooves, and Flippers

Our zoo class today was about feet! Grace LOVES her zoo classes and was so excited to go today. The picture above is of an African millipede.
On our zoo walk, we got to see an orangutan. I think these guys are just as curious about people as people are of them.

When the class was over, Grace couldn't wait to ride the carousel. She picked out the frog.

We got to compare Grace's foot to an orangutan's foot. Wow! Orangutans have a BIG footprint.
We looked at the chinchilla's feet and then got to see him take a dust bath.
The kids in the class got to record their footprints in paint. How fun!
Miss Whitney, the teacher, helped Grace across the paper so Mommy could take some pictures.

It was a really fun class. I think what makes it SO FUN is Grace's excitement about it. She is a very active participant in every aspect of the class, and her excitement is contagious.
