We had a little cookout tonight with Grandma, Papaw, Grandma Mickey, Uncle Jim, Uncle Brian, Erin, Wayne, Candi, and Cassidy. It was a really fun evening with family! When everyone arrived, Grace was coloring a picture and putting some stickers on paper. Grandma and Grandma Mickey love crafts, so they joined in.
Papaw and Gabriel had a deep conversation about cars.
Grandma Mickey was in charge of peeling the stickers off the sheet.
After dinner Dan broke out the slip and slide for the kids . . . of all ages.
I love the action shots and the expressions on their faces.
Cassidy was here, but she did not want to go down the water slide.

Erin thought that she would put Uncle Brian in the water. Unfortunately, she ended up in the water instead.

The head first slide made me nervous, but luckily there were no injuries.
After a little sliding, it was time to have a piece of Reese's ice cream pie. Yummy!
Daddy filled this tub with water so the kids could play in it when the slip and slide lost its luster.
Uncle Brian took the opportunity to get the kids with hose.
Then he showed Gabriel how to use the valve on the hose. Thanks, Uncle Brian!
These two cute girls were swinging fools tonight. I think everyone got a turn at pushing them on the swings.
Of course, after all of that playing outside, you have to take a bath. For some reason Cassidy likes to take a bath at our house, but not at home. We happily let her join Grace in the tub.
Grace really enjoys the company! What a great way to end a fun evening!
