Yesterday afternoon/evening we had a little Father's Day cookout at our house. Grandma brought dessert . . . dirt and worms. Yes, DIRT and WORMS. Gabriel was a little hesitant to try the dirt and somewhat shocked that Papaw would eat the dirt and worms with such little reaction. When he finally decided to taste it --- it didn't take him that long --- he said, "Hey, it's like pie!" Grandma had fixed dirt pudding (chocolate pudding with Oreo cookie pieces) and gummy worms.

Grace was very skeptical. She saw Gabriel eat it, but she still thought it looked a little yucky.

She refused to touch the worm, so I held it while she took a bite.

Once she realized the worm was candy, the whole thing became quite funny to her. What a fun dessert!
