So, Dan and I decided to have a little impromptu family dinner tonight. I had planned to make homemade lasagna for dinner, and my recipe makes a 9x13 casserole which is much more than the 4 of us can eat. Also, Uncle Jim was in town from VA, and Mariam decided to come in town from OH/VA. It seemed like a great opportunity to spend some family time.
Wayne, Candi, and Cassidy came over for dinner too. These two girls are so funny playing together. They were pretending to be babies.
After dinner, we had a sundae bar with all the fixings. I'll explain Gabe's glum face later.
Grace enjoyed mint chocolate chip ice cream with sprinkles.
Papaw made himself a sundae too . . . or maybe it should read, "Papaw made himself a sundae or two." Haha! I have no room to talk! I had MORE than my share of ice cream and toppings.
After sundaes, Gabriel played doctor with Grandma and Papaw. He prescribed Tylenol and Claritin. Haha! You can tell he's got a little experience with that!

We went outside briefly for some play time. It didn't last long because it started to rain. Cassidy wasn't much into playing with the water shooters either.
After playing outside, the three kiddos had baths. Cassidy sported some high heel shoes with her shorts and tee-shirt.
One pair of high heels led to some serious dress up time.
Here were their final outfits. They are a riot! They had on tiaras, high heels, backpacks, skirts, and purses. I love it!
