Saturday there were tons of activities for the kids to do at Jellystone.
We started the morning with some rides at the playground.
Then we saw Yogi at the flag raising ceremony.
We went inside the ranger's station to watch some Yogi cartoons, and Alicia read some books to the kids.
Next we traveled to the gazeebo for a coloring contest. Our kids were SO FUNNY . . . they thought that by a coloring contest the point was to color the paper the fastest. If that had been the case, we would certainly have had first and second place winners. Not their best work. Haha!
Here is Grace's masterpiece.
Daniel carried the two little kids up the hill and back to the playground.
Sam and Gabriel posed with Yogi.
There were crafts at the pavilion. Gabriel and I . . . no, Alicia and I tie-dyed t-shirts for the boys.
After lunch we went swimming at the pool. And after a little time swimming, we needed a snack. Sam and Gabriel chose push-up pops.
Dan, Grace, and I split an ice cream sandwich. Yummy!
While Dan and I were changing out of our swim clothes, the kids played in the camper. They absolutely love the camper.
Our next adventure was a Hey-Hey-Hey Ride!
Yogi and Boo Boo went on the Hey-Hey-Hey ride too!
After dinner, we trekked over to the field for some fireworks. It was a really cool fireworks display, and it was right over our heads.
Grace chose to sit with Daniel during the fireworks which I thought was really sweet. I have to say that I was a little jealous that she didn't want to sit with me though.
We had an action packed day of fun!
