We headed to Louisville's Slugger Field last night to see the Louisville Bats play the Columbus Clippers.
Gabriel was SO excited to see his first REAL baseball game.
We checked out the playground when we got to the baseball park.
Grace looked so cute in her little pig tails. It's too bad she won't let me fix her hair more often.
Our seats were on the third base line.
Grandma and Papaw went too. This was Grandma's first Bats game!
After a healthy dinner of hot dog and french fries (Ha!), Daddy bought the kids each their own bag of cotton candy.
Before the evening was over Gabriel looked like a smurf.
We took a break during the third inning to ride the carousel. Grace insisted on riding the bunny.
Gabriel rode the dog.
We went back to our seats, and Grace sat in Papaw's lap hoping to share his snack.
Daddy caught a tee-shirt!
Grace made herself comfortable in front of our seats and colored in her Buddy Bat book.
We ended our evening with an Italian Ice (because the Sno Cone booths had closed) and some play time at the playground. You should have seen how wild Grace was after an entire bag of cotton candy and sips of Daddy and Grandma's Diet Cokes. Geez! She was one hoppin' girl!
