Under Table

It is so fun to watch the kids playing together. They were playing under the kitchen table the other evening.

Hiding

This silly girl was hiding under the coffee the table in order to have an opportunity to chew on Gabriel's sunglasses.

Horse Play

After the reunion the kids played together in the kitchen floor while Mom and Dad sorted laundry and unpacked. They are so funny when they play together.

Sink Baths

These reunion photos come to the blog compliments of Michele. One of our reunion highlights are the babies taking their baths in the kitchen sinks. Daddy gave Grace her first reunion sink bath. She seemed to like it!

Gabriel is getting ready for his sink bath.

Holdaway Family Reunion

I'm a little behind in posting to the blog. Last Thursday through Saturday we were at the Holdaway Family Reunion at Lincoln State Park. I took very few pictures because I was busy with kiddos and my hands were always full of items other than the camera. Here are a few pictutes of the little ones. Maria and Grace at breakfast
Gabriel and Andrew had fun playing with cars on Friday morning when it rained.
One afternoon Maria decided to be a streaker. She took off all of her clothes and her diaper in the dining hall. :)
Grandmama Mary Jo with Claire and Anthony
Matthew was very imaginative with the cars. At one point they were a computer, a keyboard, a printer, a calculator, and a mouse. Guess what his daddy does for a living?

Swimming in Aunt Sandy's Pool

Gabriel had a fun time last night swimming in Aunt Sandy's swimming pool with Daddy. I think the highlight of his evening, though, was the moped accident in their front yard when we arrived. He got to see a fire truck, two ambulances, and two police cars. His eyes were glued to the emergency vehicles for the entire time that they were there. When it was over, he walked in the house and said, "This is a great house." (Don't worry the moped riders were not injured too badly. New Chapel fire department just needed something to do.)

Standing

Grandma and Aunt Barbara taught Grace a very bad trick on Tuesday night. They showed her how to hold on to the side of her play pen and stand up. Wednesday morning I went into her bedroom to get her out of bed, and she was standing up!

Getting Attention

When Grace wants attention, she'll make this choking-gagging sound. Sometimes she even puts her fingers down her throat and literall gags herself. She thinks it's funny when we go to her and ask if she's okay. She was doing this last night while I was washing up dinner dishes. The one I caught on video is a mild one. Geez! They learn these tricks so young!

The Aftermath

This was the scene for the entire ride home from Indianapolis. Three busy days and three late nights wore these kids out! It was a quiet ride. Poor kid . . . how could he possibly be comfortable like that? I think he was SO tired that he didn't care.
Sweet dreams, Baby Girl!

Indy Children's Museum

The Indianapolis Children's Museum was a blast. There was so much for both of the kids to do. We spent more than two hours there and did not see half of it! Gabriel at the water table. When I wasn't watching him, he poured water on his head. Another time I caught him getting ready to drink the water. Silly boy!
There was a play area for babies too!
Gabriel thought it was cool that he could drive the front end loader.
Mowing was one of his favorite activities in the play zone.
Who is that pretty girl?
The Curious George exhibit was interesting for little ones too. Here is Gabriel going down the rocket ship slide.
He had fun moving animals from one pen to another . . . go figure!
Grace liked the Curious George exhibit too!

Here is Gabriel driving an Indy car!

The train exhibit was the first one that we saw. Gabriel was in awe of all of the trains that were displayed in the wall.

Wedding Reception

Introducting Mr. and Mrs. Holdaway! Stacey was such a pretty bride, and Eddie was not such a bad looking groom either!

Yes, the wine was tasty! This was the first time EVER that Michele and I have had such a good time together! Let's not wait 30 years before we do it again!
Of course Gabriel found an adorable blonde to dance with. There was not a girl at the entire reception that Gabriel didn't dance with.
Poor Grace got so sleepy. Good thing she had Grandma and Aunt Barbara to put her to sleep while Mommy, Daddy, and Gabriel danced.

Holdaway-Kubal Wedding

Do you dig the sunglasses?
I wish Gabriel had been looking at the camera. It would have been an excellent picture.
Here's for you, Erin! Proof that Brian wore a tux!

They ARE Mommy's Angels! This is my FAVORITE picture of Dan EVER!Gabriel was Erin's boy the day of the wedding. He did anything for her and just loved hanging out with her. This is the Holdaway clan pre-wedding ceremony. Here come the ring bearers. Gabriel's expression is just priceless! He walked down the aisle almost perfectly! Whew!Stacey and the groomsmen . . . how funny!
