Vocabularies

Our kiddos have quite the growing vocabularies lately. It seems to me so amazing that Grace is saying or attempting to say SO many words. On the other hand Gabriel is learning new words and phrases all the time. He cracks us up with his creative use of new words.

Tonight Gabriel's new word was "chudder." This is his creative combination of "each other." He was using "chudder" in every sentence he said, and it was usually not used correctly. Some of his sentences were quite funny.

Grace is now saying the following words: Mama, Dada, bye-bye, hi, ball, night-night, and attempts at shoes and balloon. Night-Night was a new term that she said for the first time tonight. She said it pretty clearly too.

She has been saying ball for a week or so now, but it comes out "bah." We went to a store and saw a bin of clearanced pumpkins last weekend. She pointed and in complete awe exclaimed, "Bah!" Tonight Dan and I took the kids to Bridgepoint for our Fall Festival. When she saw all of the kids in the gym with basketballs, she said with a gasp, "Bah!"
