West Virginia Trip

We left Wednesday evening for West Virginia. I always look forward to this trip because it is so relaxing and beautiful up in the mountains. I enjoy getting to see a lot of family that we only get to see once a year. It is always fun.

This year was a little different. Grace came down with an ear infection Tuesday afternoon. She was not feeling well while we were in West Virginia. She would only sleep if Mommy slept next to her, and even then, she slept very little. And if Grace doesn't sleep, neither do Mom and Dad. We ended up leaving on Saturday morning, rather than Sunday, because Dan and I wanted to get a good night's sleep before heading back to work. This is what our trip is all about. . . playing, cuddling, getting up late (HA!), and taking it easy.
