We were greeted at the entrance by Santa Claus himself! He asked Gabriel what he wanted for Christmas to which Gabriel replied, "I don't know." Santa told him to think about it for the next four months, then write him a letter.
Our first stop was the old time cars. Gabriel was in HEAVEN because he got to drive!
Next, we rode the carousel. For once, Gabriel did not choose to ride in the stationary carriage and agreed to ride an animal.
The free unlimited soft drinks were great. Grace got to practice drinking out of an open cup for the first time. She did really well.
We rode this adorable little train. As we rode we got to see nursery rhyme characters, and the conductor told the nursery rhymes. So cute!!
This is Gabriel with the Holidog.
At lunch this little squirrel begged like he was one of our dogs. We fed him french fries and hot dog bun.
After lunch we rode these cute little cars. Again, Gabriel got to drive and loved it.
Gabriel and I rode the Kiddie Coaster three times in a row without ever getting off. It was a super fast ride. Gabriel cackled the entire way around the track.
We waited in line to ride the Eagle's Nest. Afterwards we spent a couple of hours at Splashin' Safari. We had a ball there, but I didn't take my camera. We went around the lazy river. The kids LOVED Monsoon Lagoon too.
In Santa Claus Land Gabriel rode these little boats.
This was our last ride after a long day. Unfortunately, I had forgotten to give Gabriel another dose of Emetrol for his motion sickness. He ended up pinching his lips closed while riding this ride, and I have a hunch that the ride operator stopped the ride early to avoid having to clean up puke. (I don't blame him.) It was a fantastic day --- so much fun!
