Gabriel, Grace, and Mommy went to the fair yesterday with the Hoylands. I don't remember going to the fair but once or maybe twice as a kids, and I remember being pretty young. The trip to the fair was just as exciting for me as it was Gabriel. We had a ton of fun!
We started at Kids Biz and picked up some free Kentucky State Fair sunglasses.
Gabriel HAD to take a turn driving the NASCAR car.
Billy took Gabriel into Safety Town. He thought it was pretty cool to get his own driver's license. When the lady asked him is name so she could put it on his license, he said, "I'm Gabe Gabey!" He was just being silly; he does know his name. It was just so funny that he said that.
Our next stop was corn dogs. Gabriel really enjoyed it!
After we ate, we went inside to see the animals. We saw cows, goats, sheep, pigs, chickens, pigeons, and llamas.
Abby got to pet the goats too!
When we were leaving the live stock area Gabriel asked for an ice cream. He wanted to eat it while sitting next to Billy. He was Billy's buddy all through the fair.
The girls has some time to chat while we stood in line for Missy's funnel cake.
Missy shared her funnel cake with Gabriel and Grace. Gabriel's fair experience was completed when Billy bought him Curious George blow-up toy.

I saw you at the fair Saturday. I was at the ice cream booth. (like I needed that!!!) You were feeding Grace so I didn't want to bother you. Ky. is a nice fair. We were there to see the goat show, of course! If you like Ky., you should really make plans to go to Indiana's. Really big so plan lots of walking and pick a cool day.
I enjoy reading about your kids.
