Things to Remember

It has been quite some time since I posted general updates about our children and their development, so here goes:

Gabriel ---
He LOVES cars and trucks. He has been carrying his steering wheel (Thank you, Bowers) everywhere with him. He makes car sounds ALL the time. People in stores, parking lots, etc. often giggle at his antics. He calls his clothing and body parts car names. For example, his shoes are his tires and his clothing is his paint. He informed me last night that his butt is his engine. HA! Food is gas for his gas tank. I think that his imagination on this subject is incredible, but I occassionally worry that he is a bit obsessive.

Grace ---
She is our comedienne. If someone laughs at her doing something, she will certainly do that thing again and again to keep you laughing. One of the funniest things right now is her pronunciation of the word "popsicle." She says, "pok-u-bucka-bucka." She says it that way intentionally now just to hear people laugh at her.

Grace also loves baby dolls. She likes to diaper her Ernie doll. She likes to rock her other baby dolls. When she rocks, she sings, "Rock a baby . . . tree top." It is so cute. The other totally cute thing that she does lately is carry purses. She will load her arms up with three or so purses and inform us "Ready go!" or "Home!" (I'm home). It is amazing that a little girl who has been surrounded by such boy influences (boy toys, boy friends at daycare, etc.) is SO girly!
