Beautiful Fall Day

Dan had an excellent idea this afternoon. He suggested that we forget the chores (laundry, ironing, cooking, etc.) and go to Huber's. It was an absolutely perfect day, so why not?!?!
We had a great afternoon enjoying the weather and some fun activities.
We stopped at the petting zoo first. This pedal cart activity is new this year. It was fun!
Next, we went to the electric tractors. Grace had a hard time steering hers.
Daddy helped her out though.
Gabriel drove his tractor like a pro!
Feeding the animals was a highlight for me and the kids.
There was a new tricycle track this time too. Gabriel really enjoyed that.
This was the smallest tricycle we could find, and Grace still had a hard time pedaling it. She didn't make it very far around the Trike Track.
We headed back to the petting zoo to feed some animals.
It always cracks me up that WE actually PAY to feed the Hubers' animals. What a racket they've got going!! It's fun though . . . so oh well!
These deer were making all sorts of baaing and grunting sounds. I'm not sure if they were hungry or annoyed by all the people.
The goats were pretty aggressive. One of them tried to grab Gabriel's pants when he bent over to pick up some corn.
See how they chase people as they walk along the fence. It's so funny!
Grace could not wait to get to the jungle gym.
She's a little monkey, that's for sure.
Gabriel surveyed the area carefully before deciding whether it was safe to climb.
I love to swing with my kids!
Daddy and Gabriel headed back to the Trike Track for a bit, and Grace played at the playground.
My silly family . . . I love them!
Before going home, we headed to the farmer's market. Grace got to "drive" a real tractor there.
Gabriel drove too, of course! What a great afternoon! The kids slept in the car all the way home. I loved the peace and quiet and the beautiful fall weather.
Once we got home, Daddy got to work making applesauce with our Huber's apples. YUM-O!
