Grace started a Zooper Kids class on June 10th at the Louisville Zoo. She LOVED, LOVED her zoo class last year, so I couldn't wait to get her started in the class this summer.

Our first class was about the letter P. They looked at pictures of penguins and porcupines. They pet polar bear fur and watched a parrot do tricks. At the end of the class, they were given a plate of popcorn and asked to form it into a letter P. Well, Miss Grace is the great popcorn connoisseur, so rather than making a letter P, she just dove in and started eating. Oh well!

We went on a zoo walk to see the polar bears. Apparently, only one polar bear was out, and she was sitting in a corner of the exhibit making it difficult to see her. We walked over and watched the sea lions swim laps back and forth.

On our way out of the zoo, Grace begged for a bag of cotton candy. The cotton candy lover in me couldn't resist, so we shared a bag. I love spending one-on-one time with my little girl.
