JYBL

 Gabriel is playing JYBL as of today.  He met his coach and had his first practice this morning.  His team in U of K.

 The coach started with a dribbling warm-up.

 Gabriel likes to dribble the ball really high, so the coach has him working on dribbling the ball lower.

 Next, they practiced defense.  Gabriel was the first kiddo to stand in the middle of the circle and try to stop the other kids from passing the ball.  He did a good job for his first time practicing defense.

 Gabriel is the second biggest kid on the team.  Officer Jackson's son is the only one taller than he is.

 Coach wasn't impressed with their footwork when they were practicing defense, so he had them do a drill to practice footwork.

 Their next practice was dribbling and defending.

 Gabriel and Landon ended up being paired for each practice round.  Landon is fast!

 Gabriel kept trying though.

 Their final practice was shooting.  Gabriel made 2 of his 3 shots.

You should have seen him grin when everyone clapped for his shot.  He had a great time today practicing.  He is very excited about his first game next week.
