Dan and Gabriel have been at the Immediate Care Center all morning. He has a slight fracture of the bone under the pinky finger. We have to take him to an orthopedist to have it checked again, but for now, he has a soft splint/wrap. Let's just say that he hates having his hand wrapped. He cried about when he got home. He keeps saying, "It feels better, so let's take it off." At this point, we have been told that he has to keep the splint on for two to three weeks. Water activities are finished for him until then, unless we get creative. That stinks!

Yes, It's Broken.

Oh no! I can't imagine how hard it is to have a little one with a splint (and wanting to take it off). Hope he feels better soon.

poor gabe, we hope you are better soon! i was going to suggest sellersburg pool next monday. don't tell him that! hope these 2-3 weeks go quickly for him (not us since it'll mean the end of summer, just him!).
oh no!! sam's first question was "how is he going to play with me." then, he wanted me to write "sorry gabe you hurt your arm!" poor thing!
Oh no! Poor little guy!! I hope it feels better soon. :) Maybe he can get some little signatures (doodles) and that will make it somewhat cool. :)
