How I Became a Pirate

We went to Derby Dinner Playhouse this morning to see How I Became a Pirate. I let Gabriel invite a friend to go with us, and without hesitation, he chose to invite Sam.
Gabriel was STARVING when we got to Derby Dinner. He ate a good breakfast this morning. It's a rare treat to get such a selection for breakfast.
The Derby Dinner Star came to our table, and Alicia asked if we could get the boys' picture with him.
Gabriel went up to the buffet and got seconds of French toast sticks all by himself. It was so hilarious to see him come back with such a plate full. I feel like he is getting SO big and SO independent . . . especially when I saw him up in the buffet line by himself. He is growing up way to fast.

Anyhow, the play was super-cute. The characters were so funny, and there was so much humor for both kids and adults in this play. Gabriel said that he thought it was the best play he'd seen. I'm so glad the boys enjoyed it!
