ENT

Grace saw an Ear, Nose, and Throat doctor this morning. Despite the Rocephin shots she had last week, her ears are not better. So the next inevitable step is to have tubes.
We were playing around while waiting for the doctor to see her, and she was making all sorts of faces to show different emotions. This was her surprised look.
After last week's experience with shots, she was so afraid of going to the doctor again. I had reassured her a hundred times that she was not getting anymore shots, but she was still nervous. On our way to the doctor's office, we passed Dairy Queen, and she asked if I would stop and get her an ice cream. I promised that if she was a big girl in the doctor's office, I would buy her an ice cream on the way home. She ordered ice cream with M&M's on top.
We shared a chicken strip basket while at DQ. So she dipped her French fries in her ice cream. Silly kid!

February 3rd our little girl will be getting tubes. If the doctor had suggested that we do it today, I would have jumped on it. I'm so ready for her to be well and healthy. She woke up this morning really lethargic and with a 100.2 degree fever. I hate for her to have pain, disrupted sleep, and fevers because of this darn ear problem. I'll be so glad when we have it taken care of. We see the light at the end of the tunnel!

I was so nervous when Cooper has his tubes but it made life sooooo much easier! Within a few hours after surgery I'm sure she will be back to her usual self. Good Luck!
